Making Content is Hard

Making content is hard. Even for me.
I’ve been doing this for over 16 years. I’ve made thousands of videos and pieces of content. I’ve built my business on it. I’ve seen what happens when businesses take it seriously. I’ve seen how fast things can grow when the right content hits the right people. I know how powerful it is. This is my “one thing.” I eat, sleep, and breathe it. I do it for myself and for other businesses every single day.
And even with all that, it’s still hard.
Especially doing it consistently.
So if you’re a business owner trying to figure out how to show up online and it feels overwhelming, you’re not crazy. And you’re definitely not alone.
But here’s the truth.
Content is still the most powerful way I know to grow a business. It builds trust. It builds attention. It builds momentum. And it scales.
People don’t answer unknown phone numbers. They won’t open the door to a stranger. TV shows are getting canceled left and right because they can’t keep advertisers. Viewership for live TV has dropped so drastically that many shows operate at a loss. Some are only kept alive by massive corporate parent companies, but even then, they’ve been bleeding for years.
Five of our biggest clients two years ago were TV shows. Half went off the air after 15 or more years for that exact reason. And even when we worked with them, we were handcuffed. So many rules around social media that we couldn’t even do the job well.
I once pitched the executives of a major show a whole new strategy. Turns out the ideas were too good. They were afraid advertisers would move their money to the online content instead of the TV show. A few years later, the show got canceled anyway.
I’ve been making marketing and advertising videos since I was 19. I’ve directed and produced content for national brands. These weren’t just cool edits. I was crafting messages that moved products and built businesses. This is what I do.
Social media is where attention lives now. In the future, maybe it’s the metaverse. Maybe it’s holograms. But content still has to be made. Someone still has to create the story, the message, the experience. Whether it’s people or robots, there will always be an architect. And I plan to be one of the best.
I won’t jump too early. But I won’t be left behind either.
And you want someone like that. Someone like me. At the head of the company helping yours grow online. Someone who eats, breathes, and lives this stuff. Someone who’s done it for a very long time. Someone who’s here to help because I know what it’s like to fail, and I don’t want that for you.
And whether it’s with me or someone else, you need people in your corner who live this. People who’ve built something with it. People who care about your results like it’s their own business.
That’s what we do at Kathman Studios.
If you’re ready to take your online presence seriously, monthly content creation, strategy, and social media management is what we do.
